• Free Rabies Vaccinations For Pets Coming To Westwood: What To Know (patch.com) — Westwood pet owners can now pre-register for a free rabies vaccination clinic at the Westwood Train Station, with separate time slots for cats and dogs and clear rules on leashes and carriers. The Oct. 31 event, run by the Westwood Board of Health and Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, is open to residents and neighboring towns, with three-year vaccines available for pets with prior proof of rabies shots.
   

• An 1860s trip through the Pascack Valley — Part 2 (thepressgroup.net) — A narrated 1860s stagecoach ride through the Pascack Valley passes through what are now Woodcliff Lake, Hillsdale, Westwood, and Emerson, tracing old farms, churches, mills, and taverns along Pascack Road. For Westwood residents, it offers vivid local history and context on how nearby landmarks, roads, and even the reservoir area evolved from scattered Dutch-speaking farmsteads.
