Business Administrator Contract Hearing, Retirements at School Board Meeting Thursday
The Westwood Regional Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Thursday night

A public hearing on the business administrator contract is scheduled for Thursday night before the regular Westwood Regional Board of Education meeting.
Members of the board are expected to present certificates of recognition to several students and accept three retirements Thursday during the regular portion of the school board meeting.
Students of the month for June and members of the girls track team are slated to be presented with certificates for their accomplishments.

According to the agenda, school board members will vote to accept the retirement of special education teacher Diann Masterson, Washington School third grade teacher Janet Ryan and secretary Denise Celuch.
Also on the agenda is an item where school board members can authorize the transfer of current year surplus to reserve.

The public hearing on the business administrator's contract is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Hurley Theater of Westwood Jr./Sr. High School, 701 Ridgewood Road, Washington Township. After the public hearing, members of the board will go into executive closed session. The regular Westwood Regional Board of Education meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the same location.
