19th Annual Home for the Holidays

6:00pm -
Animals on Parade will start at the 5 Corners (Westwood Ave and Kinderkamack Road) and go to Veterans' Park. Santa, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph will greet children at the bandstand.

Events in Veterans' Park -

  • Tree Lighting hosted by Santa after the parade
  • Brookeside School Jazz Band will play from 5:45pm - 6:45pm
  • Hot Chocolate, courtesy of Iron Horse Restaurant, served by the Westwood Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary 

7:30pm - 8:30pm -
Rides on the Trackless Train around Veteran's Park (free)

7:30pm -
Open House along Westwood Ave will have refreshments, music, magicians, DJ's, stilt walkers, Daisy D. Dots and her Junior Clowns, and more.

The Westwood Select Choir will be performing on the Post Office steps.

*The Knights of Columbus (St. Thomas Moore Council #2188) is collecting new and unwrapped gifts and gift cards for the Pascack Valley Social Services agencies. Donations can be dropped off at the Westwood Gallery (corner of Broadway and Westwood Ave) during the evening.

*Home For the Holidays Ornaments complete collection (2005-2009) are available for purchase for $60 (includes five ornaments). Individuals are also available. Proceeds benefit Home for the Holidays.
