“Opening Our Hearts”

A shabbat full of music sponsored by the Rick Rubens Memorial Fund to remember and honor Rick Rubens. He died in 1980 at the young age of 18.

Special guest Cantor Ellen Dreskin will create an evening of story, song and prayer with Temple Beth Or's Rabbi Ruth Zlotnick, Cantor Regina Hayut and the congregation.

Cantor Dreskin was on the faculty of the URJ Summer Kallot, Hava Nashira and the URJ Kutz Camp Leadership Academy as well as being the Associate Dean of HUC-JIR. Additionally she sings with Beged Kefet and serves as Hazzan Shini at Temple Beth El of Norther Westchester.
