For children not yet ready to participate on a swim team, the Bergen County YJCC offers a pre-competition program. The pre-competition program is an ideal transition from learning to competing. The sessions run more like a practice than a swim lesson to help swimmers perfect the strokes needed to compete. In addition, swimmers practice starts, turns and other competitive moves.
Children may attend one or two days a week. Placement tests will be held on Sunday, January 29 from 11:00 a.m. to noon and on Monday, January 30 from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
