The Bergen County YJCC in Washington Township offers swim lessons for all ages and ability levels at its facility.
All swimmers new to the program are required to take a swim placement test. Tests will be given Sunday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to noon or Monday, Nov. 14, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. The next session of children’s group classes begins the week of Nov. 27. There are also classes for children age 6 months through 3 years, along with a parent. In addition to its competitive-style pool, the YJCC has a 400 square-foot kiddie pool. Both pools are indoors.
Private and semi-private lessons are available for ages three through adult and for those with special needs. All lessons and classes are open to YJCC members and non-members.
