The Game Time basketball program at the Bergen County YJCC in Washington Township is holding tryouts for this winter’s teams, including the YJCC teams and state-certified AAU teams. Coaches are experienced semi-pro and collegiate players, high school and AAU coaches, all under the direction of YJCC athletic director Jenny Jurjevic.
Practices are held Monday or Wednesday evening, with coaches determining practice times. All games are played on Sundays within 30 minutes of the YJCC. Fees per player range from $225 to $250 for the season.
Tryouts will be held Sunday, Dec. 11:
3/4 grade girls and boys (9 and under) - noon
5/6 grade girls and boys (11 and under) - 1 p.m.
7/8 grade girls and boys (13 and under) - 2 p.m.
