Accomplishment: This Washington Township resident, who will be a sixth-grader at the in September, earned a Bronze Award in Girl Scouts. Her project involved making pillows and cookies for children suffering from cancer.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Alicia is not only involved in Girl Scouts. She participates in karate at The Dojo Paramus, is a cheerleader in Washington Township and had two lead roles in Theater Week at Washington School.

Q&A with Alicia:

  1. What project did you do to receive the Girl Scout Bronze Award?
    Made hug pillows and cookies for kids being treated for cancer.

  2. When did you become a member of the Girl Scouts? What do you like best about it?
    In kindergarten, 2005. The best thing about Girl Scouts was doing all sorts of projects and just having fun and enjoying ourselves and each other's company.

  3. When did you start karate? What is your favorite part about it?
    I started karate in 2009. What I like best about karate is working as a team, helping each other and the teachers are super nice.

  4. How long have you been cheerleading? What do you like best about the sport?
    I have been cheerleading for one year. And what I like best about it is the routines are awesome and it's fun working together.

  5. What do you want to do when you grow up?
    I would like to be a fashion designer, a vet/volunteer worker at an animal shelter, a lifeguard or a professional cheerleader.
