Hazardous Household Waste Can Be Disposed Of This Weekend

Bergen County residents can dispose of dangerous household products and items this weekend in Paramus.

Items can be dropped off at the household hazardous waste collection site at Bergen Community College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Residents will be required to show identification before disposing of any materials or items.

Acceptable materials include: glue, gasoline, fluorescent light blubs, glue, lighter fluid, paint, varnish, and fertilizer.

Materials should be in their containers and labeled.
