Hillsdale Ranked 24th, Westwood 28th Safest Towns In America

Home security review company released annual, national list based on crime data.

HILLSDALE, N.J. – Congratulations, Hillsdale and Westwood: You’re two of the safest towns in all of America.

According to safewise.com’s annual rankings, Hillsdale came in 24th overall in the category of towns with populations over 10,000 residents. Westwood was ranked a few spot down at 28 while Bergenfield was the next highest Bergen County town to make the list at 38. The full list can be seen here.

SafeWise is an independent company that specializes in home security reviews, comparisons, and advice for consumers to make the best decisions on how to protect their home.

The site’s methodology and ranking system came from Uniform Crime Report data for the full year of 2014.

Ridgefield, New Milford, Mahwah, Dumont, Wyckoff, Hasbrouck Heights, Glen Rock, Palisades Park, and River Edge were also named to the top 100.
