Hillsdale Road Closures Near Demarest Farm To Continue This Weekend
New traffic pattern in effect due to the amount of traffic coming and going from the farm.

HILLSDALE, N.J. — Police will again close streets and intersections this weekend in response to the increased amount of traffic heading to Demarest Farms.
Police Chief Robert Francaviglia said the street closures worked out well to alleviate the gridlock that had plagued the area while the farm hosts its pick-your-own weekends.
Royal Park Terrace and Melville Road will be closed at the intersection of Werimus Road and Overlook Drive. All entry and egress to and from the neighborhoods will be through Craig Road at Werimus Road. Streets to the east of Werimus Road down to Pascack Road will also be closed to all but local traffic.

Residents will be required to show their driver’s license or identification with their address to pass barricades at the entrance to these streets. The barricades will be manned by both local and county police officers.
