Hillsdale Woman Who Suffered Head Injury In Stable Condition: Report
70-year-old may have been hit by a pickup truck or fell, police said.

A 70-year-old woman condition was upgraded to stable Tuesday after she suffered a head injury Monday morning while walking Monday morning.
Police are still investigating whether she was hit by pick-up truck or fell, The Record reported.
The police received a 911 call Monday morning that a large, black pick-up truck hit a woman on Piermont Avenue and continued traveling west on the road, authorities said.

Police officers administered first aid to the woman and called in a medical helicopter to the scene, police said.
Police spoke to a 75-year-old Old Tappan man who may have hit the woman, but told police he was unaware that he may have been involved in the incident, authorities said. He was released and no charges were filed.
