Iconic Budweiser Clydesdales Deliver Beer To Bergen Businesses [video]

The horses helped hand-deliver beer to Lou's Tavern and the Cornerstone in Hillsdale, and The Iron Horse in Westwood.

WESTWOOD, N.J. — The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales came to the Pascack Valley this week and delivered beer to three local businesses.

The horses stopped at Lou's Tavern and the Cornerstone in Hillsdale, and the Hillsdale Fire Station, before going to the Iron Horse in Westwood, The Daily Voice reported. Westwood and Hillsdale police, and the bergen County Sheriff's Mounted Unit, helped escort the iconic animals on their wagon and hitch from the K-Mart shopping center to Broadway.

Anheuser-Busch owns about 250 Clydesdales, which kept at various locations throughout the United States. The company began using the horses in 1933 to celebrate the repeal of Prohibition.
