More than 200 students graduated from IHA on Sunday. The commencement was held in the gym, which was packed with families of the graduates. Awards of excellence and scholarships were presented after the diplomas.
The guest speaker was Maggie Scarry Barbieri, Class of 1981, who is a college textbook editor and the author of the "Murder 101" series of mystery novels. Barbieri offered practical advice to the Class of 2011, such as "Remember where you parked your car" and "Always wear pantyhose on a job interview."
