Irish Song Bird Visits Westwood Store

Tara and Gene Callaghan, owners of in Westwood, significantly expanded upon the store's existing product line, while adding new contemporary lines and women's and men's clothing when they moved from Ridgewood. They also bring some Irish culture to the community, which they did Saturday hosting a CD signing with Beverly O’Regan Thiele.

Iowa native Beverly O'Regan Thiele is among the best in her field for her interpretation of contemporary opera and equally at home in the classics, concert and recital work. From her professional debut at the age of 23 as Abigail in "The Crucible" with Des Moines Metro Opera, to Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and Europe, O'Regan Thiele has thrilled audiences with her intensity and honesty of character portrayal and her stunning vocal prowess. Recently she released an album of Irish hymns, which can be found online and at Irish Eyes Imports.
