Mary Jane Clark Book Signing Saturday

Clark will sign copies of her novel, The Look Of Love, at Shaw's Book Shop

Mary Jane Clark will have her only local book signing at on Saturday, Jan. 21. She will be available to sign books for locals beginning at 11 a.m. Shaw's will also have copies of Clark's book on sale.

Clark's soon-to-be released book, The Look of Love, is the second novel in her Wedding Cake Mystery series. Clark also held a for her first Wedding Cake Mystery, To Have and to Kill.

The series focuses on main character Piper Donovan, an actress and wedding cake maker who finds herself involved in murder mysteries. In the Look of Love, Piper accepts an all-expenses-paid trip to a spa in L.A. to create a wedding cake. She struggles to figure out her relationship with FBI agent Jack Lombardi, introduced in the first book of the series. Shortly after her arrival, Piper learns of a brutal murder at one of the private bungalows, in attempt to stop the wedding. The novel is entrancing with romance and mystery as its readers follow Piper through her travels. Clark's goal for The Look of Love is to entertain, surprise and satisfy her readers.

Clark grew up in Westwood, and currently resides in Hillsdale. Before persuing a career as a novelist, Clark worked for CBS News as a writer and producer. She based her first book series, KEY News, on her experiences with CBS.

Clark has written 12 novels, published in 23 languages: Do You Want to Know a Secret?, Do You Promise Not to Tell,? Let Me Whisper in Your Ear, Close to You, Nobody Knows, Nowhere to Run, Hide Yourself Away, Dancing in the Dark, Lights Out Tonight, When Day Breaks, It Only Takes a Moment and Dying for Mercy.
