Meet A NY Giant, Take A Walk At Nature Center This Weekend

Westwood carnival will be held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.

There is a lot going on this weekend in North Jersey. Here are a few of the events we found that you might want to check out.

  • Meet a NY Giant: Several former New York Giants will sign autographs at the team’s training camp practices this weekend.

Practices will be held at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center at the MetLife Sports Complex in East Rutherford.

Practices will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. the following Giants will sign autographs.

Saturday: Sean Landeta, George Martin, and Rodney Hampton

Kids may play at the Big Blue Kids’ Zone, which features games and inflatable attractions.

Parking, admission, and autographs are free.

  • Westwood Carnival, Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Westwood Plaza on Broadway near the Hillsdale border.
  • Bark in the Park: Celebrate man’s best friend at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park with food trucks, music, and contests. Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
  • Guided Nature Walk: A leisurely walk through the Tenafly Nature Center. Sunday, Aug. 2, from 3 to 4 p.m. Cost: $5, ages 2 and older.
  • Yoga in the Park: Saturday, 9 to 10 a.m. at Oscar E. Olsen Park, 162 West Main St., Bogota. Admission is free.
