• Composting program aims to save environment and Westwood money (northjersey.com) — Westwood residents can start using a new 24/7 composting shed at the DPW on Harrington Avenue next week, joining a paid pilot program that could cut landfill waste and town disposal costs. Led by Councilwoman Erin Collins and built with help from a local Eagle Scout, the effort partners with Neighborhood Compost and could eventually expand to curbside pickup if participation grows.
