'Real Housewives Of NJ' Star Gia Giudice's Bergen County Restaurant Gets Opening Date
A Dominican chef will weave Latin influences into Italian favorites at the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's first restaurant.
WESTWOOD, NJ — "Real Housewives of New Jersey" TV star and businesswoman Gia Giudice — who recently moved to Jersey City — has announced an opening date for her new restaurant in Bergen County.
Il Vero (Italian for “the truth”), her first eatery, will open in early June, a spokesperson said Thursday.

The two-story eatery will boast indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, private event space, and rooftop dining.
The Dominican chef behind the menu will weave Latin influences into the classic Italian dishes, the restaurant team said.

Giudice's mother Teresa, who has been featured on the series since the first episode, is a creative consultant for the project.
"Il Vero isn’t just a restaurant, it’s meant to be the place you go for dinners, celebrations, rooftop nights, and everything in between," said a spokesperson.
The restaurant will be located at 170 Center Ave., the former location of the bistro and event space called Prohibition.
