Rutgers Football Star's Accuser: 'He Picked Me Up And Just Dropped Me': Report

20-year-old Bergen County woman recalls when Leonte Q. Carroo allegedly attacked her and slammed her into the ground.

The Bergen County woman who has accused Rutgers University star football player Leonte Q. Carroo, said she remembers when he allegedly ’picked me up and just dropped me,’ she told The Record.

“I remember that slam,” the woman, who did not give her name, “I remember hitting the ground and seeing all those people around me.”

Carroo, a former player at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, has been suspended from the team and six others have been arrested for a number of violent crimes in and around the New Brunswick campus.

The six other players have been dismissed from the team. Two of them, along with a third former Rutgers player, are facing robbery charges, while four others are facing aggravated assault and riot charges. Carroo was charged with simple assault.

Coach Kyle Flood was suspended three games and fined $50,000 for improperly contacting a teacher about a player’s grades.

The woman, who, the report states, is 107 pounds, was injured on her hip, palms, and the left side of her head by Carroo, who is listed at 215 and 6 feet 1 inch. She said she thinks she blacked out for about 10 seconds.

“When I looked up, I had a crowd of about 15 people around me. One girl was hitting me with a traffic cone,” the woman said. “I’ve never been so scared.”
