Special Presentation About Visual and Performing Arts Program, Awards at Board of Ed Meeting

Those who attend the Westwood Regional Board of Education meeting Thursday night will hear a special presentation from Karen Forgione, K-12 supervisor of Visual, Performing and Related Arts for the district. She is scheduled to provide a report about the visual and performing arts program.

Board members are also expected to recognize numerous people for their contributions to the district. On the agenda is recognition for the Westwood Washington Township Education Foundation officers who helped raise more than $50,000 at the annual gala last month.

The board is also scheduled to recognize PSO/PTO officers, students of the month for February and March and a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.

The Board of Education meeting is scheduled to begin Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Hurley Theatre of , 701 Ridgewood Road, Washington Township.
