Students Participate in Week of Respect

The middle school recognized the week, newly created in the state, with a slogan contest

participated in the state-wide “Week of Respect,” which was created as part of the State of New Jersey’s new anti-bullying law. Among the week’s activities, students in Karen Bloch’s art class were divided into teams to design slogans. Then, the students voted on their favorite, and the winning slogan was posted in each classroom of the school. This year, the winning slogan was designed by Michaelangelo Russo, Kyle Brown and Louis Westervelt, who designed a poster urging their classmates to “Keep your hands to yourself.”
