Washington Township Student Wins National Gold Medal
Hyungjun Yoon, a senior at Bergen Catholic High School, was honored by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
A Bergen Catholic High School senior was named a national Gold Medal recipient by the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards recently.
The work created by Hyungjun "Peter" Yoon is among the less than 1 percent of the 320,000 works submitted for the awards this year.
Yoon has been invited to attend a ceremony at Carnegie Hall June 2 and will participate in showcase events at Parsons School for Design at The New School and Pratt Institute's Manhattan Gallery in New York City.
