Washington Township Veteran Named Warrior Of The Day

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - An Immaculate Heart Academy alumnus was named the Warrior of the Day recently by the U.S. Air Force.

Airman Nicole Gross, a Hoboken native, received the award Thursday, said Dusty Good of the U.S. Navy Office of Community Outreach.

Gross is a 2009 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy. She is originally from Hoboken.

Airman Gross serves on board the USS Harry S. Truman. The ship has a crew of more than 1,500.
