Westwood Dominates Again
Cardinals open their new stadium in grand fashion, with a 46-7 victory over the Dwight Morrow Raiders.
After physically dominating Dumont last week, the Cardinals of Westwood came into their home opener against Dwight Morrow pumped and ready to christen their brand-new stadium with a huge win.
Despite the extremely wet weather, Westwood played strong, leaning on the strong running game of Joe Spies and Pete Creamer. Spies collected his second straight 100-yard performance with three touchdowns and Creamer rushed for 62 yards and 24 yards receiving.
The Cardinals opened a 28-0 lead at halftime and didn't let up in the third and forth quarters, adding 18 more points and embarrassing the Raiders 46-7.
