Westwood High Announces 2012 Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Carolyn Maskin and Catherine Antonick took the top two spots in this year's graduating class.

 

is proud to announce the valedictorian, Carolyn Maskin, and salutatorian, Catherine Antonick, for the Class of 2012.

Carolyn Maskin is the valedictorian for the Class of 2012. She has a GPA of 4.39 and is passionate about the theatre and the environment. Maskin is an active member of the Wind Ensemble and several honor societies. She is also an avid human rights advocate and is able to remain calm while balancing academics along with all of her extracurricular activities. She plans to major in biology and genetics and will be attending Cornell University this coming fall.

Catherine Antonick is this year’s salutatorian. She has earned a GPA of 4.3239 and is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and has taken five AP courses. She has worked at the for nearly three years and is involved in numerous community service projects. She is a talented pianist and enjoys being involved in her church. She will be attending Rutgers University this coming fall.
