Westwood High School Marching Band Earns Top Scores

The Marching Band attended the “Music in the Park” Marching Band Competition at Midland Park High School Oct. 9. The band and color guard both had a fantastic day, winning top scores in their divisions. The color guard, under the direction of Eileen Nagle, won the award for Best Guard for the second year in a row. The marching band, under the direction of Dan Pena, James Lawrence and Drum Major Emily Beckman, won awards for Best Marching and Best Overall on their division.

The Westwood Regional Jr./Sr. High School Marching Band and Color Guard Seniors are Carly Miraglia, Gordon Sabol, Joe Sacchi, Emily Beckman, Calvin Taylor, Maggie Wimmer and Ailona Parker.
