Westwood Regional Schools Reopen Wednesday

Power has been restored to all Westwood Regional schools besides , so students will return to class Wednesday.

George School, which has partial power restored and all health, life and safety systems in woroking order, will have a delayed opening Wednesday, opening at 10:15 a.m. Students should not arrive before 10 a.m.

Superintendent Geoffrey Zoeller said the delayed opening will give PSE&G extra time to restore full power and for temperatures to rise. He recommended students wear layers because the temperature at George School remains "a bit low."

No Halloween celebrations will take place at or so students should not wear costumes Wednesday.

Halloween events scheduled for Monday at the elementary schools will take place Friday for students. Parents will receive more information about that in the coming days.
