Westwood UNICO Honors Washington Twp. Ambulance Corps

Proceeds from the Service Above Self event were donated to the Pascack Valley Ambulance Services.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Westwood Italian civic organization made a donation to the Township of Washington Volunteer Ambulance Corps earlier this year.

Corps members attended the Westwood UNICO's Service Above Self event Feb. 17. They were each given a plaque. The beefsteak dinner raised funds for local emergency medical services.

Township of Washington Mayor Peter Calamari visited the ambulance corps after the dinner and presented volunteers with a check of their share of the proceeds.
