Where Can You Park In Hillsdale This Weekend?

HILLSDALE, NJ — There will be no on-street parking in any of the four zones west of Pascack Road.

The parking change is part of a plan to control parking for Demarest Farms customers.

Parking will be available at the farm, in the Hillsdale Borough west lot and in the KPMG "B" parking lot. The KPMG office is at 3 Chestnut Ridge Road in Montvale. Parking lot attendants will guide motorists to a free shuttle bus that will take people to the farm and back.

The zoning plan was developed as an answer to try and find a solution for the 1,000 vehicles that descend on the area with people going to the farm in the fall.

The Bergen County Agriculture Development Board approved the plan a few weeks ago.
