2 Men Charged in Carteret Man's Murder
The Carteret man was shot dead in the entryway of his home last week.

Carteret, NJ - Two men have been charged in the murder of a Carteret man who was found fatally shot outside his home last Tuesday.
As Patch previously reported, Briccio Guevara, 63, was returning to his home on Carteret on Tuesday, Dec. 6, when he was fatally shot in the entryway of his home. Police were alerted when neighbors called, reporting the sound of gunfire. He was found dead in his entryway.
Guevara was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, where he was pronounced dead shortly after he was discovered at 12:01 a.m. Miguel Delgado Benitez, 21, and Juan Carlos Marrero-Cardona, 32, were both charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, hindering prosecution and unlawful possession of a weapon in his death. They were both held on a $1 million bail.
