Another Shoplifting Arrest At Woodbridge Walmart
A 29-year-old Perth Amboy man was arrested Saturday, Nov. 25 at the store. This is the third arrest in one week at the Woodbridge Walmart.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Yet another shoplifting arrest at the Woodbridge Walmart: A Perth Amboy man was arrested over the weekend and charged with trying to shoplift $453 worth of items from the Walmart on Rt. 9 north, in the Hopelawn section of the Township.
This is the third shoplifting arrest at the Woodbridge Walmart in the past week, and so far all the suspects have been from Perth Amboy: Two men from Perth Amboy were arrested last Tuesday, Nov. 21 and charged with attempting to steal thousands of dollars worth of electronics from the Walmart. In that incident, there was a brief foot chase to capture one of the suspects. One of the men in that incident shoplifted from the Woodbridge Walmart four different times in the past, store security said. The most recent incident happened at 4:30 Saturday afternoon, Nov. 25, police said. A female store security officer said she watched as the man selected multiple items off display shelves and put them in his backpack. The items included four Skullcandy earphones, valued at $46 each, a hair straightener, razors, PlayStation4 controllers valued at $39 each, foundation make-up and sunscreen.

The female loss prevention officer stopped him as he was trying to leave the store and Jaime Medina, 29, was charged with shoplifting. He was also wanted on warrants out of Sayreville and for not paying child support in Middlesex County.
