AriZona Iced Tea Opens Woodbridge Bottling Plant
AriZona is currently working to open the Keasbey site. When it opens, an abandoned rail spur will be reactivated to serve the warehouse.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — AriZona (the makers of the iced tea and other drinks) is preparing to open a brand-new 621,000 square-foot bottling plant and distribution center in Woodbridge Township last week.
It is officially called the AriZona Beverage Production, Manufacturing and Bottling Facility at the Federal Business Center located in the Keasbey Industrial Zone.
Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac said the soft drink company reviewed many other locations throughout North America before settling on Woodbridge.

“We are pleased to welcome AriZona as an outstanding member of the Woodbridge Township corporate community,” said McCormac. “AriZona represents the most significant development project to locate in Woodbridge Township in decades."
The company said they choose Woodbridge because of its close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark Liberty International Airport, the Port Newark/Elizabeth Marine Terminal and East Coast rail network(s), such as Amtrak.

The bottling plant is not open yet: When construction is complete, an abandoned rail spur will be reactivated to serve the facility. The AriZona Beverage production and bottling facility features 45 dock positions, a 20,640 SF maintenance garage, solar energy systems, and is outfitted with a guard shack reminiscent of the Alamo.
