Attempted Child Luring In Carteret Sunday, Police Say

The attempted child luring occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 in the area of Randolph and Edgar streets. No child was taken.

CARTERET, NJ — There was an attempted child luring in Carteret Sunday evening, Carteret police said in a statement they released.

The attempted child luring occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 in the area of Randolph and Edgar streets. No child was taken and no arrests have been made at this time.

That was all the information police would release. Police, however, said the incident is being thoroughly investigated.
