CARTERET, NJ — The body of a homeless man was found Thursday morning in Carteret Park.

The man is suspected to have died from natural causes, said a spokeswoman for Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

The man, 49, was found at 11:30 a.m. Thursday inside Carteret Park, the largest park in town, by a town parks department employee, said the Carteret Police public information officer. The town employee reported that they found a man sleeping tucked in next to the "hot house," a municipal building often used as a snack stand.
