Bomb Scare Stops Amtrak Train in Edison
A passenger thought he heard another passenger talk about having a bomb in his backpack.

Edison, NJ - Just days after the deadly ISIS attack in Brussels, an Amtrak train was briefly stopped in Edison Thursday due to a bomb scare.
A passenger told an Amtrak conductor he overheard another passenger possibly talk about having an explosive device in his backpack, reports Pix 11. The train, en route to Penn Station, was stopped in Edison at about 9:15 a.m. Thursday.
New Jersey Transit and Amtrak police responded and investigated. Nobody was arrested and the train resumed moving again about 10 minutes later.
