The victim was recovered on Sunday after an unidentified fisherman saw the remains along the shoreline in Perth Amboy and called police.

Authorities are attempting to positively identify the individual.

The discovery comes a week after authorities said they were investigating the death of a 38-year-old man who was found outside a warehouse in Central Jersey.

Taharqua Temple of East Windsor was pronounced dead on Sunday at 6:05 p.m. after he was found by two unidentified individuals who called police at 5:45 p.m., according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department.

Police were dispatched to the warehouse, located on Raritan Center Parkway in Edison, near Woodbridge. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, pending the results of toxicological testing.
