In appreciation of their service, we're proud to offer a free 12-week Veterans Wellness Program for veterans and their spouses/partners (of all ages and abilities).Meets Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. | June 21-August 21
Designed to support overall well-being, this program focuses on strengthening the mind, body, and spirit through weekly meetings, wellness education, and full access to YMCA facilities and programs. Participants will also receive guidance from dedicated YMCA staff and trainers.
Program Benefits Include:
<ul><li>Complimentary, 12-week family membership</li><li>Body composition/BMI analysis</li><li>Weekly 30-45 minute educational sessions on fitness, mental health, mindfulness, nutrition, and overall wellness</li><li>A FREE 6-month adult membership upon successful program completion (based on attendance)</li></ul>
Who Qualifies:

Participants will learn practical ways to calm and regulate their baby’s nervous system, understand infant sleep patterns, support early movement and development through play, and recognize common newborn cues. The session focuses on building connection, reducing parent stress, and providing developmentally appropriate education — without using rigid methods or sleep training approaches.

<a href="https://parentingjourneyandbeyond.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Carmelina Coppola</a> is an Infant &amp; Early Development Neuro-Movement Educator, Certified Parent Educator, and Newborn Care Specialist serving families throughout Middlesex and Union Counties. She has extensive hands-on experience supporting parents and infants from birth through the first year of development, with additional training in pediatric sleep education, trauma-informed embodiment practices, and early developmental movement support. Her work focuses on gentle, evidence-informed education to help families understand infant nervous-system regulation, newborn soothing, early movement development, and infant sleep rhythms in developmentally aligned ways. Programs are educational and non-clinical and designed to complement pediatric care.
