Carteret Man Charged With Child Porn Possession

CARTERET, NJ — A Carteret man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

Edward Kross, 66, of Carteret was arrested last Thursday and charged with possession of child pornography in the third degree.

The investigation began after a tip was provided from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). The investigation was led by Detective Stephanie Redline of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and assisted by the Carteret Police Department.

They did not elaborate on the details of his charges.

Kross is currently being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center pending his initial court appearance.
