Colonia Student at MCC Joins in Beach Cleanup

Denise Lullo, a Colonia resident who attends Middlesex County College, joined with 60 other MCC students last week to help clean up a local waterfront.

The students were part of a group who volunteered to pick up trash and waste at About 60 Middlesex County College students volunteered to clean Laurence Harbor Waterfront Park. 

The program was organized by Clean Ocean Action, a nonprofit group dedicated to improving the quality of marine waters off the New Jersey and New York coasts.

Some students of the MCC students were from Phi Theta Kappa, the college's honor society; the Biology Club; and Professor Claire Condie’s Introduction to Geology class.
