Cops: Boy Falls Headfirst Out Of N.J. House While Playing Hide-And-Seek

The 8-year-old found a hiding spot in a second-floor bathroom behind blinds; his brother went to tag, but pushed a little hard, police say.

An 8-year-old boy fell from a two-story window Thursday during a game of hide-and-seek with his brother, according to nj.com.

The child was taken by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick after the accident happened about 5:15 p.m. at Antler Court in Old Bridge, according to the report.

The boy went through the window screen, landed on an overhang below and then struck the concrete sidewalk headfirst. He was taken to the hospital by helicopter, and remained there Friday afternoon with his parents by his side. He was expected to survive, according to the report.
