WOODBRIDGE, NJ — We already told you back in February that a Dave & Buster's is opening at the Woodbridge Center Mall. Now, a tentative opening date of Monday, Nov. 13 has been scheduled.

The Woodbridge Dave & Buster's is currently hiring to fill servers and hosts, managers and game techs, bartenders, cooks and back-of-the-house positions. The Woodbridge Dave & Buster’s will be approximately 34,000 square feet and will be located in the upper-level Sears wing of the Woodbridge Center Mall.

Dave and Buster's serves food, alcoholic beverages and offers video games, sports and state-of-the-art simulators. Provided by Woodbridge Township, these are renderings of how the new Woodbridge Dave & Buster's will look once open.

Dave & Buster's was able to finally operate in New Jersey after Gov. Chris Christie two years ago lifted a statewide ban preventing alcohol from being sold in the same establishment where amusement games were offered. The law did not apply to casino gambling, but prevented alcohol from being sold where tickets were given for game prizes, such as Skee-Ball. Dave and Buster's lobbied the New Jersey legislature for years to get the law overturned.

Dave & Buster's also plans to open a North Jersey location, at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne. Construction there is ongoing. Here's an update on the Wayne location: https://patch.com/new-jersey/w...
