Middlesex County Recreation Council Kiddie Keep Well Camp

Kiddie Keep Well Camp is a private, non-profit corporation providing a residential camping experience for disadvantaged children from Middlesex County between 7-11 years old. Our program focuses on health and wellness and includes each camper's physical and dental exams. In addition to the traditional camping activites such as swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and dance and drama, we also provide a fire safety lesson. Local Union County Dog rescue group, Brendan's Meadows Rescue is hosting photos with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 6.The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, at 2400 North Avenue in Scotch Plains. The annual fundraising event will benefit At Risk Dogs being saved by Brendan's Meadows Rescue. Dogs only at the event. Suggested donation is $10. There will also be dogs available for adoption. The event will also have low-cost pet vaccinations and $30 micro-chipping with registration.- By ALEXIS TARRAZI/Patch Staff
