DWI Checkpoint Jan. 27 in Woodbridge Township

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Consider yourself warned now: Next Friday night, Jan. 27, Woodbridge Township police will be holding a DWI checkpoint on State Highway 35 in the Avenel section of Woodbridge.

The checkpoint will run from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, said Sgt. James Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department's Traffic Unit. Patrol cars will be pulling over all vehicles and looking for drunk drivers.

Additionally, Woodbridge will have extra patrols out every weekend, looking for intoxicated or impaired drivers, Sgt. Chessere said.
