Edison Man Arrested For Heroin, Police Say
An Edison man, 22, was arrested in Cranford Sunday after a traffic stop by police revealed he had heroin on him, Cranford police said.

CRANFORD, NJ — An Edison man was arrested in Cranford Sunday after a traffic stop by police revealed he had heroin on him, Cranford police said. He was also driving with a suspended license.
Kevin Artis Jr., 22, of Edison was pulled over at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Raritan Road and Centennial Avenue for a lane violation. His car was searched and police said they found heroin, enough marijuana to sell and possession of paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending a Superior Court appearance.
Artis Jr., was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to maintain lane, failure to use a turn signal, driving while suspended and possessing a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
