Edison Men Charged in Landscaping Equipment Theft
These two Edison men are linked to an April theft in Cranford, where $45,000 in landscaping equipment was stolen, police say.

CRANFORD, NJ - Two Edison men were arrested and charged with stealing $45,000 in landscaping equipment from a Cranford storage garage earlier this year.
The alleged theft happened April 17. On that day, Cranford Police found a storage garage on East North Avenue that had been broken into, and a 20-foot landscape trailer was stolen from inside, according to police. Contained within the trailer was an estimated $45,000 in landscaping equipment, Cranford Detective Sergeant Ryan J. Greco reported. It took Cranford police nine months, but using video surveillance, license plate readers and phone records, Detective Derek Farbanec was able to identify and locate three suspects.
Costas Constantinou, 41, of Edison and Nunziatina Cucaro, 33, of Edison, were both arrested, as was Saverio Macro, 36, of Hillsborough.
