Edison, Monmouth Men Indicted for Stealing Car in Middletown
The men stole a Ford Explorer in Middletown, prosecutors say, and drove it to East Orange.

An Edison Township man and two men from Monmouth County, Cream Ridge and Port Monmouth, were indicted Thursday by a Monmouth County grand jury for allegedly stealing a Ford Explorer in Middletown and taking it on a joyride through, prosecutors said.
Kevin Cunningham, 31, of Port Monmouth, is charged with stealing the 2001 Ford Explorer, police said, on Sept. 15 in Middletown.
Cunningham and two others — Ammon Andrews, 33, of Edison and Kevin Tommins, 29, of Cream Ridge, then drove the stolen Explorer through Middletown and into East Orange, N.J.

Cunningham is also charged with stealing an American Express credit card from the car’s owner, and using it that same day at a 7-11.
