
The New Jersey Young Professionals Multi-Group Mixer is an event that will combine both business and social networking. Up to 400 young professionals from 15 different member organizations are expected to attend the 13th bi-annual event scheduled for May 3 at the Renaissiance Hotel in Iselin.
According to its website, http://www.njyp.org, New Jersey Young Professionals, an organization for those ages 21 to 39, is comprised of "thousands of members and a whopping 20-30 Official Events per month. Members meet at restaurants, bars, in coffee houses, at comedy clubs, and even outdoors. We get together to taste wine, honor the happy hour, network, play board games, hike, bike, and so much more."
The Renaissance Hotel event on May 3 will also benefit job seekers. Job seekers will be given a glow bracelet which will help recruiters and those looking to hire find them quickly in the crowd.

According to the website eventbrite.com, the mixer is open to all career types. There will be an extended cocktail hour with drink specials and complimentary light hors d'oeuvres for the first two hours. There is a separate cost for food and drink throughout the duration of the event.
Dress code is business or business casual. Remember to bring at least 30 to 60 business cards. Some past participants have also brought resumes and portfolios.
