Enter The Battle of the Bands Concert in Carteret

The borough of Carteret is holding its first annual Battle of the Bands concert on August 20. Musicians interested in participating in the event which will result in cash prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000 must submit three music samples of songs to be performed at the concert by August 11. (Prizes subject to change.)

Studio quality CD submissions are not required but a CD must be given in advance to event coordinators who will not allow potentially offensive material such as the use of profanity to be aired during the concert. No judges will preview music samples prior to the performances.

A web banner and an MP3 or MP4 formatted recording may be uploaded to the website http://www.carteret.net. A YouTube video is also an acceptable form of submission. To request a specific banner, email mcpheer@carteret.net no later than August 11. Banners must be 425 pixels x 86 pixels.
