Have a great night with the family at the National Night Out 2011 event in Metuchen on August 2. The event will take place on Center Street between Middlesex Avenue and New Street at 6:30 p.m.

There will be music, food, face painting and a chance to have your picture taken with local law enforcement, fire and first aid squad personnel. The event is part of a national program celebrating its 28th year of annual nights devoted to heightening awareness of drug and crime prevention.
